My parents separated when I was little, I was five or four… It was because of my dad’s jealousy… Because I loved them both, I wanted to be one month with one and one month with the other, so they would not feel bad.

(When I was 14 years old), my father… threw me out because I played cards… [even though] I was still a virgen, I was always drunk… I spent my time outside of my house.

He thought I was like I am now… because I would get home late, at twelve, [but] I was a virgin… The woman that was living with him had told him that I would stay out late in the street.

My dad would always fight with me, but he never kicked me out. That day he did and I felt bad, so I left… Afterwards, he wanted me to come back there and I asked him how I could come back again with him telling me that he did not want whores hanging around his house.

I went to my stepmom’s… and stayed about 3 years, living there peacefully without going out on the streets.

She was the one who worked in the streets, I would go out with her and I would see that she would go in the hotels with men, and I would wait downstairs… Then I started going in, too. I saw that she wasn’t going to [keep] supporting me since I was already a woman.

I have days when I hate even myself. On those days I don’t do anything, I try to stay away from everyone so I won’t offend them.
